In the spirit of friendship and to assist the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) to respond to the dire need of surgeons in Majuro, the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) is pleased to inform the public that through coordination among the RMI Ministry of Health, the National Taipei Hospital of the ROC Department of Health and the Embassy, Dr. Kao, Ping-Sheng and Dr. Fan, Chang-Han, both
assigned and sponsored by Taipei Hospital, are scheduled to arrive in Majuro separately as volunteer surgeons at the Majuro Hospital till the end of December 2011.
Dr. Kao will arrive in Majuro on 2 November and depart on 26 November 2011, while Dr. Fan will step in immediately after Dr. Kao’s departure on 28 November and continue the volunteer medical services provided by Taipei Hospital until 20 December 2011.
