The 2011 R.O.C. (Taiwan) Midshipman Cruising and Training Squadron (MCTS), Republic of China Navy (R.O.C.N.), also known as the R.O.C. (Taiwan) Naval Goodwill Squadron, is scheduled to visit Majuro, the Republic of the Marshall Islands from April 10th to April 12th 2011.
The Goodwill Squadron, consisting of 3 battleships with approximately 800 crew members, is led by RADM. Tang, Hua. Important public events and dates concerning the Squadron visit are as follows:
(1) Open House (Tour of Battleship Cheng Ho) at Delap Dock
April 10 (Sunday): 10:00~15:00 and
April 11th (Monday): 10:00~15:00
(2) Other major events
(April 11th 2011) 15:00 at ECC
Friendly Basketball Match between the Squadron and the Marshallese Basketball Teams 15:30~16:30 at ECC
15:30 Performance by ROC Navy Honor Guards, Marching
Band and Marine Corps special team of Martial Arts
16:30 Performance concludes.
