An outreach project established by First Lady Hannah Jurelang Zedkaia at the hospital maternity ward on Majuro and Ebeye and all outer islands health clinics.
The goal is to meet the need of young mothers especially the precious newborns who are really in need of help by providing baby essentials, and other maternal needs to the maternity ward.
Majority of the babies born are mothered by young teenagers, single, jobless and in some instances are dropouts, and belong to economically disadvantaged and big families who cannot afford immediate and necessary essentials for the young mother especially the new born child.
First Lady Hannah Jurelang Zedkaia donated several boxes of baby clothings, blankets, etc to the outer islands and wishes to thank all for their help.
