The Ministry of Resources and Development (MRD) through the Ministry of Pubic Work’s Project Management Unit (PMU) is soliciting interested bidders to submit a letter of interest for the following project:
Streetlight Retrofitting Project
Specifications for the above project are available for review at the Ministry of Resources & Development Office, and at the PMU office in the Ministry of Public Works, Majuro Republic of the Marshall Islands.
Letters of Interest will be accepted at the PMU Office beginning Thursday, June 4, 2009 until 3:00PM Thursday, June 18, 2009. Any letters of interest received after the time and date mentioned shall not be accepted under any circumstances. All prospective Bidders are required to submit a letter of interest addressed to:

Interested bidders will be contacted by the PMU in writing and shall be provided with the Bid Documents for the project.
MRD and the RMI Bid Committee reserves the right to reject any or all letters of interest and to waive any imperfection in the letters of the interest which it determines to the best interest of the Government of the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
A Pre-bid meeting will be advised in writing by the PMU to all interested bidders.
“This project is funded by Italy/Austria through the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).”
