George Albert Money, 87, of Spanish Fork, Utah, died November 26, 2014, at the Central Utah Veterans Home in Payson, Utah. He was born upon March 24, 1927, in Palmyra, Utah, to William Jex and Henrietta Anderson Money. He stayed in Palmyra and dealt with the household farm. George served in the Navy from 1945-1946.

He wed Shirle Rae Stoney in Huntington Park, California, on March 19, 1947. Their marriage was later on solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, June 25, 1951. They made their home in Palmyra, where they resided in the very same area for 66 of their 67 years together. He was used at Pacific States Cast Iron Pipeline Business. He retired from Pacific States, after 33 years, in 1989. His family remembers numerousoften times after George had actually worked a night shift at Pacific States, he would come houseget home and assistassist on the household farm, which added to very little sleep. He worked very difficult to sustain and support his family.George was active in

the LDS Church, where he served as a therapist in 2 bishoprics and as a financial clerk in one bishopric. George was called to be High Priest Group Leader when he was 83 years of age. He was an active member of the Spanish Fork Kiwanis, where he worked as President and as a board member. He likewise served as trustee for the South Utah Valley Service District for nine years.He enjoyed fishing, camping, food preparation, and snuggling with his

great-grandchildren. George and Shirle served together in the Provo Temple, at the Provo MTC, and in the LDS dry-pack work office and warehouse. They delighted in traveling on several cruises around the world.George liked being with friends and family. He had an unique tactic with individuals

and quickly won them over with his transmittable laugh, engaging smile, and fun character. He will certainly be missed by all who loved and understood him.George is survived by his other half, Shirle Rae Cash; four kids: Linda(Todd )Christensen, Bryan(Kay)Money, Diana

(Stacy )Childs, and Kurt(Sherry) Money; 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Also made it through by two siblings, Phyllis Christensen and Joan Huntington; one brother, Eldon(Sharlene)Money. He was preceded in death by a little girl, Jana Rae Cash; a sibling, Rhea Money; a brother, Bill Money; and 2 brothers-in-law, Wallace Christensen and LeRay Huntington.Funeral services will certainly be held Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at 11 am at the Palmyra LDS Church, 1866 West 5000 South
