President to attend Pacific Island Forum held in Niue

President and Delegation departed August 14, 2008 to attend the Pacific Island Forum held in Niue. Delegation included Deputy Chief Secretary to the President Fred Pedro, Special Advisor Dr. Falai-Riva Taafaki, Ambassador Kaminaga, and Minister in Assistance to the President Christopher Loeak. President Tomeing appointed Minister Jack Ading, who is currently the Acting Minister in Assistnace to the President to be the Acting President during his absences from the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
